Policy

1, All dogs must pass a Temperament Evaluation/meet and greet prior to acceptance into the program.  No aggressive dogs.

2, To Board your dog, please call K AND B Boarding to set up a meet and greet for an evaluation. At this time a 50% deposit is due to confirm your reservations. NO CONFIRMATION UNTIL MEET AND GREET AND DEPOSIT IS PAID. The rest of your payment will be due at check in.

3, Pick up before 10am, no fee for that day. After 10am will be a full day Boarding fee. If you would like me to pick up or drop off your pet, there will be a minimum of a 10 dollars for pick up, 10 dollars for drop off. Over 10 miles will be additional 1 dollar a mile.

4, Cancel appointment 2 weeks prior to stay to get all deposit refunded. Cancel  1 to 2 weeks, you will get 50% of deposit refunded. Cancel less than 1 week, no refund.

3, All vaccinations must be current. Rabies, Distemper, Parvovirus/Bordetella. Vaccines cannot expire during stay. First time Bordetella must wait 14 days prior to stay, otherwise 24 hours.  Vaccines do not protect against all stains of infectious organisms. For this reason, K and B Boarding will not be responsible for any occurrence of socially transmitted or airborne illness.

4, To reduce the risk of external parasite transmission, all participants must be current on all flea/tick prevention. If any pet is found to have external parasites, K and B Boarding will bathe the pet and give a single dose of prevention at the clients' expense. Bath+prevention.

5, K and B Boarding strive to keep our facility clean and sanitary and uses all reasonable precautions to prevent injury, illness and or escape.  Under no circumstances will K and B Boarding be held responsible for the actions of the pet or other pets in the play group that may cause injury or escape.

6, K and B Boarding will practice diligence to ensure the safety, wellbeing and happiness of every dog on our playgroups. Owners understands there will be certain risk associated with allowing dogs to interact freely with one another. Even with constant supervision, nips, scratches, muscle soreness, dog fights or contagious disease may occur.

7, K and B Boarding is not responsible for any personal items such as bedding, toys or leashes left while your pet is in our care.

8, I understand that if my pet is left with K and B Boarding for longer than 10 days after my scheduled pick up with no contact from me, my pet will be considered abandoned. After the 10-day hold period, my pet will be transferred to the animal shelter for adoption. If K and B Boarding is able to contact me with in that 10-day time period, I acknowledge that I will become finically responsible for any additional lodging fees associated with my pets extended stay.

9, I grant K and B Boarding the right to take photographs of me and/or pet with and/or without names and to copyright, use and publish the same in print and/or electronically. May use for such purposes as publicity, illustrations, advertising and web content.

10, If my pet becomes ill or injured while participation in any services provided. K and B Boarding will attempt to contact the emergency contact provided to us. However, such an emergency might not provide the time to so prior to the administration of care. I authorize K and B Boarding to provide care for my pet and to transport my pet to a 24-hour referral facility if our veterinarians deem such medical care to be important to my pet's health. I grant K and B boarding full authority to make decisions involving the medical treatment of my pet and I agree to pay for all related costs. This applies to any claims for injuries or damages related to such medical care or that arise due to the transport of my pet.

11, In the event the owner or emergency contact cannot be reached, and the pet requires emergency treatment, K and B Boarding will seek treatment for the pet and the owner will assume full financial responsibility under the guidelines authorized below.

12, I will contact my veterinarian and let them know that my dog is in the care of K And B Boarding.

13, No in heat females, we will ask to have them picked up.

14, Drop off and pick up times  8-10 or 4-6, please schedule appointment. 

15, Return check charge $40. Every week check not paid $20.

16, By enrolling my pet to receive these services, I represent that I am the legal owner of my pet. I further represent that my pet is in good health, that it has received all necessary vaccinations and preventative care, and that I am unaware of any violent or aggressive tendencies my pet may have exhibited in the past to people, or animals. I agree to make K and B Boarding aware of any injuries, allergies, medical ailments, physical limitations, and preexisting conditions before the start of any services. I understand that K and B Boarding reserves the right to dismiss or refuse admittance to any pet that does not meet health, temperament or other standards for these Services. This determination shall be made at the sole discretion of K and B Boarding.  I have read all of the above.
